Details of PolyVivo

Akina Inc. is currently selling high quality research grade biodegradable hydrophilic copolymers. These polymers are block copolymers of hydrophillic, biocompatible poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and biodegradable polymer, such as poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA), poly(caprolactone) (PCL), and poly(lactide) (PLA). These block copolymers are ideal for delivery of poorly soluble drugs, such as paclitaxel. These polymers can also be utilized for a wide variety of drug delivery platforms including polymer micelles and thermoreversable hydrogels1,2 and other formulations. The polymers shown are of research grade and are excellent tools for developing drug delivery technology.
